The use of fixed tramcars, due to the use of many tramcars, not only the maintenance cost is large, but also often due to the maintenance volume, resulting in the phenomenon of disrepair. Fixed trams are used for transportation. In the process of loading, transporting and unloading, a large number of auxiliary personnel are occupied. For a mine with an annual output of 3 million tons, the number of personnel occupied by roadway transportation is 1-3 times more than that by belt conveyors. Fixed tramcar transportation has the disadvantages of complex scheduling and many transportation accidents, which often affect the production of the mining face. When the daily output of one level of the mine exceeds 7000~8000 tons, a set of overturning equipment shall be added to the shaft bottom yard, which increases the complexity of the yard route and shunting. In view of the above situation, fixed tramcar transportation can no longer meet the requirements of continuous production of super large mines and full mechanized machinery, and should be gradually replaced by other transportation methods.
For small and medium-sized mines with an annual output of less than 450000 tons, the use of one ton fixed tramcar transportation can not only ensure a certain transportation capacity, but also achieve the same construction and production gauge, reducing the type of auxiliary vehicles. One ton fixed tramcar is also suitable for medium and small mines, which usually adopt tandem car or cage lifting mode, so it is a more reasonable transportation mode for medium and small mines with an annual output of less than 450000 tons.
In the past, three ton fixed trams were mostly used in large and medium-sized mines, which was not ideal technically and economically. In the design of new mines and the reconstruction and expansion of old mines, three ton and five ton bottom dump trams should be gradually replaced.
