The traction motor is the heart part of the electric locomotive. In the mine flameproof permanent magnet synchronous traction motor, the permanent magnet synchronous motor is used as the "heart" part of the mine electric locomotive. The governor uses high-performance digital signal processor as the core, uses vector control technology, and uses intelligent power modules for power output, which can ensure the safety and reliability of switching devices, and realize the transmission control and process control of the electric locomotive. Compared with AC asynchronous traction speed regulating electric locomotive, permanent magnet synchronous traction motor system has the following obvious advantages:
1. The system efficiency can reach more than 97%, while the system efficiency of three-phase asynchronous motors above 15kW commonly used in electric locomotives is about 80%, and that of motors below 15kW is about 75%. The PMSM system efficiency is higher than that of asynchronous motors
The motivation is generally 20% higher, and its energy-saving effect is remarkable;
2. The starting torque of PMSM in the low speed section is about 3 times of the rated torque required by the electric locomotive. Especially when the electric locomotive is just started, the starting torque required is relatively large, which requires hard starting characteristics of the motor system. PMSM has good starting characteristics;
3. The PMSM rotor is composed of permanent magnet rare earth materials and silicon steel sheets. It has no reversing copper head and coil, and has good airtightness. It is not easy to reduce insulation damage due to moisture and other reasons. It has high reliability, so there is almost no maintenance, low failure rate and low operating cost.
In the fields of electric vehicles, numerical control machine tools, mine electrical traction, aviation equipment and other fields, using permanent magnet synchronous motor to replace asynchronous motor and DC motor, and developing high-performance sensorless vector control technology of permanent magnet synchronous motor is conducive to reducing system costs and improving system reliability, which is of great significance for improving energy utilization and improving equipment operation performance.
