Motor fault is a common fault of scraper machine. There are three important cases: motor startup fault, excessive heat generation of motor and abnormal sound of motor.
The main cause of motor startup failure may be that the scraper is overloaded; The chain or some other component is seriously jammed; The power supply voltage cannot meet the rated requirements; The line is damaged and the power supply is abnormal; The starting voltage drop is too large due to insufficient transformer capacity; Or the mining face is not smooth; It may also be that the motor itself fails to start due to mechanical failure.
The reason for excessive heat generation of the motor may be that the motor fan stops running or the heat sink is seriously covered and the heat sink is blocked; The scraper has not been shut down for a long time, and is in the state of overload operation for a long time; The machine starts frequently, the starting current is large, the fuse is too large, and the motor works under the starting current for a long time.
The reason for abnormal motor sound may be that the scraper is in single-phase operation; The load is too heavy; The connector is loose and in poor contact; Bearing damage; The conveyor will be crushed due to rib spalling and roof fall.
