The chain plate is mostly damaged by excessive wear and bending deformation, and occasionally cracks. The main causes are:
1. The bottom plate of chain conveyor trough is laid unevenly, or the bending angle exceeds the design requirements;
2. The bottom plate of the chain conveyor trough is not well jointed or partially deformed;
3. The conveying materials with large blocks are squeezed or stuck during operation, which makes the conveying chain bear great impact stress instantly;
4. When the distance between adjacent chain plates exceeds the critical requirement, the chain plates will be damaged due to long-term overload operation.
